You should consult with a tax adviser and a financial planner.
None of the information on the website should be misconstrued as financial or tax advice. This is a description of a subscription business that attempts to make it easier for the average income American to trade dollars for US Mint-issued gold and silver bullion.
You should know gold and silver prices vary and may lose value.
We at Faithful Over Few have no control over the spot price of gold or silver. The bullion acquired from us via our subscription service will vary with the market. That said, we will always strive to offer competitive and comparable pricing with other online retailers.
You should understand these three fees: opening, closing, and maintenance.
Faithful Over Few comes with lots of overhead, most of which is accrued when You open or close an account with us. Therefore, we charge a one-time $20 to open an account with us, and a one-time $10 to close an account with us. We also charge $1/month to maintain an account with us.
You should understand how shipments/disbursements work.
We charge accounts on the first of the month, so that all funds can be cleared by the 15th. On the 15th, we check the spot price of gold and silver, and those accounts with an appropriate balance are invoiced for the current costs. We currently only ship to the United States, and You will have to sign for Your package.
You should understand that we cannot guarantee how often You will get a disbursement.
When You buy gold and silver, You are never getting it for the spot price through any online retailer. The average industry markup / premium / commission on American Silver Eagles is something like $10-15 industry-wide, while the average markup / premium / commission on American Gold Eagles ranges from $60-$120. Our premiums are as low as possible as we spend countless hours sourcing our gold and silver to bring You the highest quality products at the most affordable prices. The only thing that may make us seem higher at times is that when we make a disbursement to You, the packaging and shipping costs are included. However, if You check us against industry leaders like Apmex, and go through the checkout process at such sites, You'll find that most often we will beat their actual out-the-door prices by a wide margin.
You should understand that You are not receiving "graded" coins.
The bullion You receive may have be in a circulated condition or the silver may have some signs of milk spots. This is unfortunately not something that is entirely in our control at the moment. It should have no bearing on trade-in value.
You should understand that we cannot buy back your disbursement.
Faithful Over Few is still in its infancy and though we stand by our product, we are currently not set up to buy gold and silver back from You. However, You will have no problems selling it to a pawn or coin shop in Your area or to other online retailers. In fact, we expect You will be pleasantly surprised when You do.
